Are you a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking for an exciting opportunity to support students in a thriving mainstream secondary school? We are currently seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team in Southwark, with an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality support to teachers in delivering lessons and classroom activities.
Assist in planning and implementing learning activities tailored to individual student needs.
Work closely with students who have additional learning needs, helping them to access the curriculum.
Provide 1:1 support or small group interventions, ensuring students remain engaged and motivated.
Help maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
Support with administrative tasks such as preparing classroom materials and resources.
Work collaboratively with teachers and SEN staff to monitor and record student progress.
Promote positive behaviour and encourage independence among students.
Requirements:
Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification (essential).
Valid DBS on the Update Service (essential).
Experience supporting students in a secondary school setting is desirable.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Ability to engage and inspire students with a positive, proactive attitude.
