Fabric Manager - FM Service Provider - Unique & Historical Site - London - Up to £55,000

Exciting opportunity to work for a leading FM Service Provider situated in London. CBW are currently recruiting for a Fabric Manager to be based on a unique and historical site in London. As the Fabric Manager, you will oversee and manage the day to day activities of the Fabric Team and fabric related sub-contractors. Generation of proposals and supervision from inception to completion of minor and extra works. Ensuring reactive, minor and extra works are completed to building fabric to a high standard and within service level agreements.

Hours of work

Monday to Friday - 08:00am to 17:00pm

Key Responsibilities

Ensure that Reactive maintenance is carried out to all site fabric assets
Generation of proposals and supervision from inception to completion of minor and extra works
Liaise with sub-contractors to obtain quotations prior to preparation of minor and extra works proposals
Ensure team members are up to date with all Biological Barrier protocols of the site at all times and comply with these.
Ensure that accurate and comprehensive records are kept pertaining to Health & Safety, Building Compliance and Quality Assurance.
Support the Account Manager in setting and utilising the annual fabric and project budgets.
Lead on Bi-monthly fabric meetings with the Account Manager
Building/Fabric defect diagnoses and recommending remedial works
Specification writing for small works and tendering/managing small works packages.
To ensure the Fabric team are suitably skilled and trained, and appropriate training plans are drafted and implemented.
To ensure the Fabric Technicians are undertaking work tasks as directed and with suitable H&S awareness/implementation.
Ensure an awareness and compliance to the contractual KPI’s/SLA’s.
Requirements

A recognised trade qualification
Experience in the provision of fabric maintenance works in a commercial environment.
Management of small works projects
Project management
Able to work on own initiative and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent communication skills.
IOSH or NEBOSH Health & Safety qualifications.
Experience working on Listed commercial properties (Highly desirable)
Experience dealing with English Heritage (Highly desirable)
