TimePlan Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced English Teacher for a temp-to-perm role in Hemel Hempstead. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher to inspire and engage students at Key Stages 3 and 4. The ability to teach a second subject is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and dynamic English lessons in line with the school's scheme of work.
Teach Key Stage 3 and 4 English, adapting lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
Mark and assess students' work, providing constructive feedback and monitoring progress.
Participate in parents' evenings and communicate effectively with parents about student performance.
Attend additional training sessions and engage in extra-curricular activities to enrich the school experience for students.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
Previous experience teaching English in a secondary school setting.
Ability to offer a second subject is highly desirable.
Must hold a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
Strong communication and organisational skills, with a commitment to student success.
