SALARY: £30,000 - £50,000 + Package

About Our Client:

A Main Contractor who delivery a variety of work including new build social housing, social housing refurbishments, residential and general build projects. This company typically work in the Home Counites. They are a smaller, regional contractor who are growing, with three further projects already secured this year. This business create a great environment to work in and allow people to thrive. This is a great time to join as the business go through a growth stage and are opening a new office.

The Role:

As an Assistant Design Co-Ordinator or Design Co-Ordinator, you will typically assist the current Design Manager on live projects. You will be involved in a variety of tasks from liaising with the Architects on drawings through to 278 works. You will be involved in package management from a design aspect and work closely with the operations team to make sure what is on paper is possible to deliver. The right person is someone who is confident in certain tasks related to the role but not looking to be a Design Manager for the next year or two. It is someone who is still learning, ambitious and keen to utilise and very experienced manager. This is an office based role with site visits and you are able to work at either of the companies two offices, Hemel Hempstead or Gamlingay, North Herts/South Cambs border.

The Applicant:

The ideal candidate must have:

* Further related education or be working towards this. Potentially an Architecture degree or engineering

* At least 3 years experience working in your field

* Be willing to work in either office or at site 5 days per week.

It is desirable to have:

* Worked for a Main Contractor but a Developer may be considered.
