As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Team Leader to join our dynamic team and help drive our operations forward.

Overview:

As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in managing a small team to deliver daily operational activities, ensuring that they meet or exceed customer service level agreements. You will be responsible for creating a positive and motivating atmosphere, upholding the organisation’s core values, and ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.

Shift Pattern: Monday -Friday 14:00 - 22:30

Key Responsibilities:

Team Management: Lead, motivate, and manage a team to uphold operational standards, productivity, and safety in line with customer requirements and resource constraints.

Compliance & Safety: Support, comply with, and ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations, the company handbook, Quality standards, and all other company policies and procedures.

Incident Management: Review and investigate incidents, respond accordingly, and escalate where necessary. Analyse risks and act to reduce or eliminate them.

Continuous Improvement: Investigate operational and system inaccuracies, discover root causes, and implement actions to drive continuous improvement.

Training & Development: Ensure that new staff are trained to the required standards and signed off on the correct Safe Systems of Work (SSoW) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Performance Management: Understand area-specific KPIs, manage productivity, and positively challenge underachieving areas.

Communication: Sustain corporate values and communicate roles and responsibilities clearly to the team. Form effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.

System Management: Drive the operation using primarily the system to ensure integrity and traceability.

Skills & Qualifications:

* Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

* Numerate with strong analytical and problem solving ability

* Proficient in the use of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), particularly JDA.

* Confident communicator, capable of dealing with logistics professionals at all levels.

* Ability to question, positively challenge, and improve upon existing processes.

* High level of honesty, integrity, and resilience.

* Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and maintain calm under pressure.

* Willingness to build strong interpersonal relationships with team members and other departments.

Desirable Qualifications:

* IOSH Managing Safely .

* First Aid training.

Experience:

* Proven experience in managing a small team in a warehouse or logistics environment.
