Our client is a non-profit organisation working with people to support their mental health and wellbeing. Established for over 30 years, they have provided services alongside a variety of statutory and voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) colleagues in Surrey and its boarders. They are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Interim Service Manager.

Salary: £33,000 - £37,000
Hours: 35 hours
Duration: 6 – 9 month contract

Location – Hybrid – Home / Woking and some travel across Surrey (Mileage will be paid)

Our client is making a positive impact in the community by providing essential mental health support to those in need. The Service Manager is a critical role, ensuring the smooth operation and management of their services during this interim period. You may be managing existing services and involved in the setting up of new services.

It is important that you are able to drive continuous improvement, building strong relationships with delivery partners, providing high quality services, on budget and inline with the service specifications. Building a culture where staff are valued and listened to is key and working hands on to develop and manage your teams.

Key Responsibilities:
People Management:

Lead, mentor and support a dedicated team of service staff
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback
Ensure staff adherence to organizational policies and procedures Data Reporting:

Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of service data
Ensure accurate and timely data entry and reporting
Utilize data to inform service improvements and decision-making
Prepare detailed reports for senior management and stakeholders Management of Service Contract:

Monitor and manage the service contract to ensure compliance with terms and conditions
Liaise with external partners and stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships
Ensure services are delivered within budget and to a high standard
Identify and address any issues or risks related to the service contract

Our ideal applicant will have/be:

Proven experience in a management role within the charity sector or a similar environment
Worked within Health and Social Care delivery services to people
Strong leadership and people management skills
Excellent data analysis and reporting abilities
In-depth understanding of service contract management
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks effectively
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
An understanding of Safeguarding policy and practice
Knowledge and skills of engagement, motivational, and behaviour change approaches
