We’re looking for a Womens & Older Girls Designer to join the expanding Design team within a Global Fashion Supplier, reporting to the Design Manager.

Within this role you will collaborate with the Design/Sales Team to create designs, and liaise with Customers, Suppliers, and Licensors

Main Responsibilities:

Understand consumer needs for range building and guide customers on market trends and licensed apparel. Develop and present product ranges to buyers, communicate daily with sales and technical teams, and source new trims and fabrics. Produce accurate CAD drawings and artwork for samples, ensuring their accuracy. Conduct trend research, create mood boards, attend trade fairs, and stay updated on High Street trends. Liaise with licensors and attend relevant events.

Experience/Skills:

* Experienced licensed apparel designer with strong commercial sense.

* Excellent presentation and communication skills.

* Trend forecasting, knowledge of fabrics, trims, graphics, and garment specs.

* Proficient in Illustrator and Photoshop.

* Knowledgeable in garment construction and spec drawings.

* Highly organised, deadline-oriented, and self-motivated.

* Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
