Sodexo Campus Dining is hiring for an Executive Chef 2 for the University of Jamestown, in Jamestown, North Dakota.  Jamestown is a family friendly community with activities for every age - from museums to hiking and biking trails. Jamestown is only 30 minutes from Bismark and from Fargo. 

Our fast-paced kitchen team manages all of our Student Dining Meals, as well as Catering and Concessions.  With Summer Camps and Conferences, we are a year-round account with room to grow.  If you are driven by creating nutricious meals for our students while ensuring safety, quality, and maintaining standards, this is a perfect fit for you!

$2,500 SIGN ON BONUS AND RELOCATION Assistance is available for this exciting opportunity!

Are You the ONE?  We are looking for candidates who have:

3 - 5 years experience in a high volume, fast paced kitchen, University or other large volume dining experience preferred

A strong culinary background, with the demonstrated ability to stay current with new culinary trends

Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest of culinary standards

Strong coaching and employee development skills

Have a passion for food and innovation and looking for opportunities to grow your culinary career

Be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting

Ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented

Have a proven track record developing and motivating team members to embrace culinary innovations

Ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance

Have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems

Manage the daily food production including production planning, costing and controls

Have high expectations for customer service and quality of food

Have knowledge of special diets and allergens
