The incumbent works collaboratively with all members of the Finance Division to assist in the achievement of system
objectives. The incumbent assists the finance management team in all areas of dashboard reporting, financial analysis,
productivity analysis and support, long-range financial planning, operating and capital budgeting, and related activities in
support of all strategies, initiatives and operational elements. Provides general direction, technical assistance and
support to CHI Health management in the implementation and execution of strategic and operational initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Senior Financial Planning Analyst
Not A Remote Role
1.Provide decision and analytic support, and use financial and data analysis expertise to support various financial and clinical projects as requested by management.
2. Maintain effective reporting structures (account, department, charge code, job code mappings, etc.) in all financial systems, as applicable.
3. Assist the accurate compilation of cost accounting data including, but not limited to; RVU definition and collection or RVU alternative when appropriate, cost assignment and allocation methodologies, definition of cost categories, charge master understanding and research.
4. Maintain system-wide statistics. Uphold a close working relationship with operations to ensure standards are kept current and automated.
5. Assure appropriate monthly reconciliation of all costs and revenues to the general ledger, budget, and productivity systems to assure accurate and consistent data, as applicable. Create and maintain system standards and allocation structures in appropriate detail, considering the appropriate methodology that best meets the customer needs and expectations.
6. Support The Network’s system-wide strategies and operational planning activities.
7. Perform other responsibilities and projects, as justified by the needs of hospital operations, such as ad-hoc reports, feasibility studies, trend analyses, and special projects.

Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or closely related field
