Responsibilities/Qualifications:
Primary Responsibilities:
Utilize our order management system(OMS) to track and manage inbound shipments.
Monitor and support supplier compliance to enhance our OMS/TMS optimization strategies.
Collaborate with the internal transportation team and other departments to support overall shipment needs
Serve as the primary contact for all transportation vendor related issues and communications
Manage international shipments and accessorial charges
Create and maintain Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
Resolve transportation/vendor issue tickets
Support Inbound/Backhaul Optimization
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Cross-trained in multiple transportation positions
Qualifications:
1-3 years’ experience in Transportation/Traffic
Professional verbal communication skills and customer service orientation
Excellent organizational and follow-up skills with attention to detail/accuracy
Ability to work in a fast-paced, diverse environment while managing multiple tasks
Always ensures confidentiality of sensitive information.
Ability to work flexible shifts/hours
Ability to prioritize actions and projects
Analytical ability to summarize data and data entry skills
