Job Title: RN Emergency Department Full Time Nights

Location: Watertown, WI 53098

Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 (depending on experience)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team in Watertown, WI. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. As a vital member of our emergency care team, you will be responsible for assessing, treating, and stabilizing patients who require urgent medical attention. This full-time, night shift position offers an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients and families during critical moments.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including initial assessment, triage, and implementation of care plans.

Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and perform treatments as ordered by physicians.

Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective care.

Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and manage emergency situations with confidence and skill.

Educate patients and their families on discharge instructions and care plans.

Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment in the Emergency Department.

Must-Haves:

Education: Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Wisconsin.

Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in an emergency setting as a CNA, Tech, LPN, or RN.

Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.

ACLS: Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification for Healthcare Providers, or willingness to obtain certification within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications:

Strong clinical skills with the ability to handle multiple patients and prioritize care in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure and in high-stress situations.

Commitment to providing patient-centered care and improving patient outcomes.

Willingness to work night shifts and be flexible with scheduling needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in a hospital Emergency Department or urgent care setting.

TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) or PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification is a plus.
