As a Senior Industrial Engineer you will play a crucial role in optimizing production processes and enhancing efficiency within our manufacturing facility. Responsibilities
Analyze current production processes and identify areas for improvement in terms of efficiency, productivity, and resource utilization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process changes and workflow optimizations.
Design and develop efficient assembly line layouts, workstations, and material flow systems.
Conduct time studies and establish production standards to improve accuracy and productivity.
Identify and implement lean manufacturing techniques to eliminate waste and reduce production costs.
Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to optimize supply chain processes.
Lead and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives and workshops.
Train and mentor junior industrial engineers and other team members.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial engineering within the manufacturing industry.
In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in process simulation software and other industrial engineering tools.
Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
Proven experience in leading and executing process improvement projects.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Ability to travel if/when needed
