Vice President of Information Technology - Data Management, Reporting, and Networking (Hybrid, NYC)

Position Overview

Join our dynamic team as the Vice President of Information Technology, where you'll lead our data management, reporting, and computer networking initiatives. This hybrid role requires at least two days on-site in our NYC office.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership: Guide and manage our technological infrastructure, data systems, and critical information.

Strategic Planning: Develop and execute the IT strategic plan aligned with the enterprise strategy.

Policy Development: Implement IT strategies, policies, procedures, and best practices, ensuring adherence to project management, SDLC, and change management processes.

Vendor Management: Build strong partnerships with IT vendors, ensuring strategic alignment and value.

System Optimization: Assess and recommend improvements for existing systems while maintaining financial prudence.

Collaboration: Work with business leaders to identify technological needs and enhance operational efficiency.

Innovation: Lead efforts to identify and implement new technologies and process improvements.

Budget Management: Develop and manage IT expense and capital budgets to support organizational objectives.

Facility Oversight: Oversee management of company facilities and leasing partners.

Policy Enforcement: Ensure robust IT disaster recovery capabilities and compliance with regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and PHI.

Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Experience: Minimum of 15 years in data management and BI capabilities, including data warehousing, reporting, and data engineering, with 5 years in technology management within a large IT organization.

Industry Background: Experience in the health plan industry is essential.

Business Acumen: Ability to understand business strategy and goals and translate them into IT solutions.

Technical Expertise: Proven track record in designing, developing, and implementing complex solutions within a healthcare data ecosystem.
