Job Description
AECOM is seeking a talented and highly motivated Structural Engineering Intern to join the Buildings & Places team in Denver, Colorado.
Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands-on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional. Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning.
This position is expected to begin in January 2025.
The responsibilities of this position may include, but are not limited to:
Become a part of the design team on one or more projects, coordinating with other engineering and architecture disciplines and producing construction documents
Learn to design in Autodesk Revit
Assist in the preparation of designs, quantity calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings
Use computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems
Work under supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member
