Job title - Pilot Plant Technician
Location - St Austell - Cornwall (IBL Pilot Plant)
Hours of work - 40h a week - 8am-4:30pm - M - F
Salary - Competitive
Get involved in a Pilot Project for the joint venture of British Lithium and Imerys.
As a Pilot Plant Technician for IBL (Imerys British Lithium) you will develop and improve novel process technologies for extracting, refining and purifying lithium from micaceous granites.

Your role: The Pilot Plant Technician your role will involve the Operation and monitoring of Fixed and mobile plant. This will include but is not limited to pumps, agitated tanks, wet magnets, hydro cyclones, screens and conveyors. You will be responsible for the safe operation of Start-up and Shut-down procedures as well as fault finding and data logging.
* Controlling Operational Parameters in order to maintain product within specified limits.
* Logging and recording of trial and analytical data.
* Carryout troubleshooting and basic modifications to fixed plant and process flow.
* Sample collection and preparation, filtration, pXRF testing as required
