Aspire People are seeking an experienced Year 6 Teacher to join a fantastic primary school in Leamington Spa, starting after the October half term.
This full-time position is an exciting opportunity to guide pupils through their final year of primary education, including preparing them for their SATs assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the Year 6 curriculum.
Plan, prepare, and mark work to ensure progress and high standards.
Prepare pupils for SATs assessments, ensuring they are confident and well-prepared.
Monitor and assess pupils' progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the school's wider community.
Follow the school's safeguarding policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Minimum 2 years' experience teaching Year 6 in the UK.
Experience with SATs preparation and assessment.
Must have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
