The Transportation Supervisor supervises daily transportation activities and personnel to ensure functions are performed according to our standards and guidelines.

You will work from Monday - Friday

Responsibilities:

You will:

Manage a cohesive, collaborative team, including supervisors, dispatchers, clerks, routers, and drivers

Maximize the use of our transportation options: box trucks, tractors, and trailers

Manage relationships with vendors 

Ensure all drivers comply with company, federal, state, and local laws and regulations 

Ensure mandatory reporting (Hut, IFTA) is done on time and accurately 

Develop KPIs for transportation staff's performance 

Develop continuous improvement plans for key metrics 

Qualifications:

You have:

High school diploma, GED or equivalent

Previous experience in transportation, preferably with a related industry

Supervisory experience is strongly preferred

Class A driver's license is preferred

Thorough knowledge of material handling equipment and traffic management.

A good working knowledge of government regulations about transportation.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

A working knowledge of Smartdrive and Roadnet is a plus
