Unit Description:

Sodexo is seeking a Starbucks Manager at Kapi'olani Medical Center in Honolulu, HI. The retail store manager will direct all operations for the licensed Starbucks and a small café dining area at this hospital. This strategic leader will be a dynamic team player with a strong background in managing teams and providing an exceptional customer experience.

This position offers a competitive salary with a full benefits package that kicks in immediately! The typical schedule is Tuesday-Saturday with no nights. 

The successful candidate will:

manage all retail operations for the Starbucks and Café

motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline hourly staff 

provide high-level service to customers 

oversee cash handing processes and POS programming and maintenance

manage vendor relationships and compliance 

maintain all product merchandising, marketing and ordering standards are in place

coordinate department safety and sanitation

We are looking for candidates who have:

management experience with Starbucks or general food service industry (restaurants, catering, hospitality, hotels, etc.)

proven success with mentoring and developing others and promoting a healthy culture in the workplace 

understanding of food safety and sanitation

Qualifications & Requirements:

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 2 years

Basic Functional Experience – 1 year of work experience in concessions, retail sales, or store operations
