Overview:

PURPOSE STATEMENT:

The IT Sr. Financial Analyst helps provide high quality support to the Acadia IT department and facilities (for IT-related costs) to assist in their execution of departmental and company objectives through modelling, financial / operational analysis, and reporting.

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Analyzing current and past financial and operational data and performance

Preparing reports and projections based on this analysis

Assist in review of budgeting process and preparation of materials for executive and board review

Assist in evaluation of current and future capital expenditures

Assist department head in reviewing investment opportunities through creations of CBAs (Cost/Benefit Analysis)

Identifying trends in financial performance and providing recommendations for improvement

Coordinating with other members of the finance team to review financial information and forecasts

Assist department head in maintaining financial models and forecasting

Other adhoc projects as needed

STANDARD EXPECTATIONS:

Complies with organizational policies, procedures, performance improvement initiatives and maintains organizational and industry policies regarding confidentiality.

Develops constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintains them over time.

Encourages and builds mutual trust, respect and cooperation among team members.

Maintains regular and predictable attendance.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, Master’s preferred.

5+ years of experience supporting an IT organization, preferably in a multi-location healthcare setting.

Ability to work professionally with sensitive, proprietary data & information while maintaining confidentiality.

Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels; both internal and external.

Exercises sound judgment in responding to inquiries; understands when to route inquiries to next level.

Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and superior attention to detail.

Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously within inflexible time frames. Ability to adapt to frequent priority changes.

Capable of working within established policies, procedures and practices prescribed by the organization.

English sufficient to provide and receive instructions/directions.

LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:

PREFERRED: CPA or MBA
