An opportunity has arisen for an Admin Co-ordinator to work for this Nationwide provider of commercial facilities management and building services. This position is for a progressive & dynamic building services company formed in 1990.

Job Purpose- To provide detailed and competitive quotations for minor installations as requested by current and potential clients. To source and allocate a variety of materials from wholesalers to engineers on demand, ensuring the best possible prices are paid and materials are available within the required time frames and to carry out general office administration tasks

Duties-

* Obtaining the cost of items such as materials, labour and equipment.

* Establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and engineers.

* Ordering access equipment for engineers within the agreed time frames

* Ensuring materials are purchased at the most cost-effective rate

* Providing employees with support in relation to materials required for works

* Liaising with suppliers ordering and price negotiation

* Chasing orders

* Carrying out administrative tasks within the department

* Providing support to engineers and office staff relating to materials required for jobs

* Estimating prices for jobs quoted by engineers

* Completing orders from accepted quotes and reactive orders

* Ordering emergency equipment to complete any breakdown works

These are illustrative duties. The post holder will be expected to become involved in a range of work within the company as the needs of the business grow.

Requirements-

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

* Ability to solve common problems independently.

* Worked in an Administrative environment carrying out Estimating and or Purchasing

* GCSE at grade A* - C or equivalent.

* Flexible working hours

* Willing to stay away

* Positive attitude

Desirable-

* On-site experience or working within a purchasing environment

* Trade specific qualifications, E.g. Electrician, HVAC, Gas Engineer
