Remedicare are currently recruiting for a Chef for our clients nursery based in the Penge area.

We are looking for skilled and passionate Chef to support our team and ensure the efficient and effective running of the kitchen. To always strive to be the best, delivering the best food experience. You must be enthusiastic and self-motivated, with strong communication skills. You will be hands on with an eye for detail, ensuring high standards of customer satisfaction.

They can offer competitive hourly pay, paid breaks, uniform and paid DBS along with additional company benefits. They are looking for enthusiastic, passionate and reliable Chef’s to be part of the team. All positions are permanent job roles from part time to full time hours!

Chef - Duties and Responsibilities?

You will be a part of a dedicated team preparing and cooking high quality meals and assisting the Nursery Manager in menu planning. The Chef must ensure Residents with special dietary needs receive attractive, appropriate and varied meals.

* Menu planning.

* Assist with the cleaning and organisation of kitchen and equipment.

* Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner.

* Adhere to all food hygiene & safety standards.

* Follow recipes and presentation specifications.

* Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.

* Restock items as needed throughout the shift.

* Maintain a clean working station whilst adhering to health & safety standards.

* Recording food temperatures.

Role Requirement:

* Strong communication skills

* Ability to work as part of a team and individually

* Flexibility and be able to adapt to the needs of Residents

* Experience in a similar environment.

* Actively help maintain compliance with current Dietary, Food Safety and EHO Standards.

* Passionate about cooking.
