Quality Manager

Alexander Steele have partnered exclusively with a leading food manufacturing business based in North Yorkshire to recruit an experienced Quality Manager. A strong emphasis on driving a culture of quality assurance and continuous improvement throughout the business will be required.

Responsibilities:

* Ensure the quality systems are implemented throughout the site.

* Ensure all audit standards are met on site as outlined in the BRC 9 requirements. Site audit status to be maintained.

* Analyse quality-related data and generate reports to communicate key performance indicators to key stakeholders of the business.

* Maintain site HACCP, ensure relevant meetings are carried out and documents are up to date.

* Lead, manage, coach and guide quality team in all aspects of food safety and hygiene.

Background Experience:

* 3+ years’ experience working in a technical/quality management role.

* A degree in food science would be desirable.

* Knowledge of current legislation, quality systems and retailer and certification standards.

* Strong organisational skills and an exceptional attention to detail.

* Knowledge of HACCP and the practical operation of HACCP systems.

What’s on Offer:

* Paying up to £45,000

* Company pension

* 25 days holiday + bank holidays

* Onsite Monday – Friday
