We are seeking a dedicated Science Technician to join a vibrant school in Thetford on a full-time, long-term basis. The successful candidate will support teaching staff and pupils with preparing and setting up experiments, ensuring the laboratories are maintained within health and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities:

* Preparing materials and equipment before lessons

* Providing technical support for A Level Biology, Chemistry, and Physics

* Stocktaking and managing chemicals and materials

* Cleaning and maintaining lab apparatus and chemicals

* Assisting with examination apparatus

* Responding to and managing chemical spills

* Collaborating with teaching staff and other technicians

Requirements:

* Previous experience in a school laboratory (advantageous)

* Ability to use ICT

* Relevant Science qualifications
