Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a Housing Officer to join a Public Sector organisation. My client is looking for enthusiastic individuals who are experienced in working within Housing Management to join their team on a Permanent basis.
Key responsibilities of the Housing Officer:
To identify and manage low-level breaches of tenancy (including allegations of anti-social behaviour) promptly and efficiently and provide advice and guidance to tenants to ensure they maintain their tenancy in accordance with the tenancy agreements
To provide an effective Tenancy and Estate management service to a diverse range of customers carrying out regular visits, inspections, estate walkabouts and other community-based activities
To work closely with support services and other external agencies to improve multi-agency working and effectively manage anti-social behaviour, safeguarding, tenancy management and estate management cases/ issues
To be proactive in identifying vulnerable groups or individuals and work with other agencies to provide appropriate support in order to maintain tenancies and reduce tenancy failure
To work with legal services to prepare legal documentation for enforcement action and to ensure they are completed in a timely mannerRequired skills and experience of the Housing Officer:
Enhanced DBS
Drivers licence and access to own vehicle
