Hours: Three shift rotation 6am-2pm, 10pm-6am & 2pm-10pm

Job Description:
Our client is a global leader in the supply of injection mouldings and assemblies for the Automotive, Consumer, Data Centre, and Medical markets currently has a vacancy for a Maintenance Technician at their Mountain Ash facility. The successful candidate will be required to work shifts (currently a 3-shift pattern Monday to Friday).
Key Accountabilities:
Demonstrate effective technical skills to support manufacturing operations.
Operate in accordance with Health and Safety regulations, departmental procedures, company policy, and GMP.
Work as part of a team to ensure targets for delivery, quality, and efficiency are met.
Implement planned and preventative maintenance schedules.
Communicate problems and issues which impact manufacturing schedules or maintenance plans.
Identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
Essential:
HNC or equivalent in an electrical or mechanical engineering discipline.
Experience in fault finding and repairing hydraulic systems and components.
Experience working with pneumatic systems.
Experience in carrying out electrical fault finding, repairs, and installation work.
Experience with fault finding on PLC-controlled systems, sensors, and switches.
Experience in facilities maintenance and routine checks, including fire system tests.
Experience in computer systems within a production environment.
Ability to use drawings, manuals, and circuit diagrams appropriately.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Ideally:
Experience monitoring cooling tower systems to comply with L8 Legionella controls.
Self-motivated and a team player.
Ability to work under pressure.
Experience working on injection moulding machines and associated ancillary equipment is highly advantageous.
