If you answered YES – we are recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance driver to join an expanding warehouse in Riddings.

This role is due to start immediately for the right candidate and will lead to ongoing work with a possibility of leading to permanent employment.

*In-house licences will also be accepted*

Hours:

* Monday – Friday

* 9pm – 6am

Hourly Rate:

* £13.73p/h

Duties:

* Safely and efficiently operate a counterbalance forklift to load, unload, and move stock within the warehouse.

* Receive, check, and store incoming goods, ensuring items are accurately recorded and stored in the appropriate locations.

* Pick and pack orders for dispatch, following specific customer requirements and ensuring accuracy.

* Assist in stock control and inventory checks, reporting any discrepancies to supervisors.

* Assist with loading and unloading lorries, ensuring goods are secured and prepared for transport.

* Adhere to health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment at all times.

* Support general warehouse tasks such as cleaning, organising, and maintaining equipment and tools.

* Work closely with colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues promptly.

* Complete necessary paperwork for goods received and dispatched, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

To be considered for the role you must have previous experience using a forklift – either current or lapsed – along with a great attention to detail.
