Counterbalance Forklift Driver
Taskmaster are currently recruiting a experienced counterbalance Fork Lift Truck driver (for both day and night shifts) for our busy client in Hartlepool. This involves loading and unloading of trailers and containers, and assisting with baling and granulating operations. Previous experience with bale clamps would be useful although not essential.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a forklift to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload trucks and containers using a forklift.
- Inspect and maintain the forklift equipment.
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
- Keep accurate records of inventory and materials movement.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification or license.
- Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of forklift safety procedures and practices.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Attention to detail and ability to accurately record information.
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Please note you must be flexible to be able to work both the day and night shifts.
Hours: Night Shift: Monday to Friday: 18:00 – 06:00 and Day Shift: Monday to Friday: (Apply online only).
Pay: Days: £12.75ph and Nights: £13.75ph
