Role: Payroll Officer
Location: Richmond upon Thames
Salary / Rate of pay: From £15.00 per hour

Platinum Recruitment is working in partnership with a busy operational hotel in the Teddington area of Greater London and we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Payroll Officer to join the team on an initial interim basis.

What's in it for you?

General office hours Monday to Friday, however offering PT hours on an interim basis only (minimum 3 days)
Hourly Rate - Get paid for every hour that you work.
Weekly pay - You get paid every Friday.

Package

From £15.00 per hour depending on experience - paid weekly

Key Responsibilities:

Process accurate and timely payroll for all hotel employees
Manage end-to-end payroll cycle, including data input, calculations, and disbursements
Ensure compliance with UK tax regulations and employment laws
Handle payroll queries from staff and management promptly and professionally
Prepare and submit statutory returns, including PAYE and National Insurance contributions
Reconcile payroll accounts and generate reports for management review
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive payroll information
Collaborate with HR to process new hires, terminations, and changes in employee status
Assist in streamlining payroll processes and implementing best practicesRequirements:

Proven experience as a Payroll Officer preferably in the hospitality industry
Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail
Proficiency in payroll software systems (e.g. Sage, Xero or Similar)
Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
Excellent problem solving abilities and analytical skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
CIPP qualification or working towards it (desirable)
Fourth Hospitality is essential

Must be immediately available with no prior commitments including holiday, notice and must have the right to work in the UK
