Job Description
The Human Resources Generalist will play a pivotal role on the HR team. You will provide administrative support for the HR Department and employees across the organization, included but limited to the following:
Essential Functions
Assist the preparation of the posting and prescreening of potential applicants for open job opportunities within the company.
Build and promote employer branding across social media and review pages (e.g. Glassdoor, Indeed).
Develop strong relationships and partnerships both internally with hiring managers, business leaders, and HR and externally with vendors and recruiting sources.
Assist with the maintenance of job descriptions
Assist with compensation analysis
Conduct reference checks on candidates.
Track and report on key metrics designed to measure and predict staffing activity.
Assist with onboarding of new hires, new hire orientation and setup in HRIS application as necessary.
Answer employee questions regarding payroll, benefits and employee relations matters, including the corrective action process
Interpret and communicate company policies to ensure understanding and compliance among employees and managers
Assist with investigations into employee complaints or concerns, ensuring a fair and thorough process
Assist with Safety and compliance issues.
Stay updated on employment laws and regulations to ensure company policies align with legal requirements
Train to provide back-up for payroll function.
Assist with the maintenance, deployment and reporting on annual performance appraisals.
Other administrative tasks (scanning, copying, filing) is required by all members of the team.
