JOB- Contracts Officer

LOCATION- North Devon

TERM- Permanent

SALARY- £32,000 - £43,000 per annum (dependent on experience; please advise)

My engineering Client are looking to take on a Commercial Contracts Officer on a permanent basis in the North Devon area.

The Commercial Contracts Officer will ideally have the following attributes:

Previous experience working in a commercial contract environment
A relevant Degree qualification or similar in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field would be preferred
Have excellent knowledge of contractual documentation
Knowledge of terms and conditions and also pricing
Experience in both negotiation and bid preparation
Have good communication skills both verbal and written
Be confident in developing business relationships
Excellent organisational skills
Good proficiency with using Microsoft Office
Have the ability to work well under pressureThe Commercial Contracts Officer role will involve:

Working closely with and supporting the Commercial Manager
Taking responsibility for Commercial Contracts
Being involved in both internal and external meetings
Producing change notes
Being involved in business and also financial planning
Commercial contract administration
Checking that contractual elements are carried out
