About the role:
Supply Desk are working with a Secondary school based in Basingstoke that are seeking an English teacher to support students. The role will be teaching all elements of English, with some general cover with time allowed for planning and marking. The school are looking for someone with excellent subject knowledge, good classroom management and a really positive approach to teaching and building relationships. - Carry out any duties reasonably assigned by the Head of Campus, including teaching responsibilities.
- Participate in performance appraisals for oneself and other staff members, following the agreed national framework.
- Ensure the health and safety of oneself, colleagues, and all students, while upholding good order and discipline in line with school policies.
- Be familiar with and comply with all school policies and guidelines across all areas of school life.
- Actively engage in the school's self-evaluation process, following the plan-do-review approach.
- Maintain classroom(s) to the highest standard, ensuring the comfort, safety, self-esteem, and learning of all students.
