About the School:
Supply Desk are working with a new SEND school who are looking for an SEND KS3 and 4 English Teacher to support very small groups of children with additional needs. This is a newly opened and well-resourced school that cater for children predominantly with ASC and SEMH needs.
About the role:
The role will be full time covering English classes with a range of needs and abilities. The school offer small class sizes so that children can have their needs met and deliver high quality and personalised classes. Although a candidate does not have to have a Qualified Teacher Status Certificate, a degree in English and a knowledge of teaching or working with children with additional needs is essential.
The ideal candidate will:
Have recent experience teaching in UK Schools
Understand and have experience working with children with additional needs
Have a degree in English
Be confident and adaptable to different environments
Have strong classroom management skills
Be able to deliver science in a fun and engaging way that students can relate to
