Academics are looking for a strong, confident SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with challenging and complex needs within the classroom. This is a permanant role on a full time basis 8.30am-3pm Monday - Friday

To be considered for work as a Teaching Assistant, you will be expected to confidently assist in the preparation of lesson plans and materials. Support the teacher in the classroom by providing instruction and guidance to students. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the teacher. Assist with grading and record keeping.

To be considered for this role, you must:

Have SEND experience
Strong behaviour management skills
Have confidence in working with children and young people to pass on knowledge
Be calm, patient and empathetic
Strive for excellence in order to ensure student success
Have an innovative, creative attitude and strategic thinker
Demonstrate a proactive and collaborative approach to working with othersYou will need an enhanced DBS check, if you do not have one we can assist in submitting this.
