We are looking for a Toolmaker for a manufacturing company based in Beckton.
The company have been operating since 1967 and boasts of being the largest specialist company in the whole of the UK.
Job Role:
* Design and make tooling, jigs, fixtures etc. to fulfill in house or external orders
* Design manufacture and maintenance of tooling needed to fulfil orders.
* Liaise with customers, designers and third party contractors.
* Operating manual lathes, mills and grinding machines.
* Experienced operating Toolroom machinery
* Bench work
* To support manufacturing in achieving customer satisfaction, quality and production output targets.
Skills Required:
* Experience using AutoCAD
* Ability to operate Tool room machinery.
* Experienced operating manual machines and grinding machines.
* Experience of manual milling machines would be beneficial but not essential.
* Flexible attitude.
* Ideally apprenticeship trained.
* Good communication skills
* Enthusiasm, loyalty, flexibility, the ability to work with team members and a caring attitude towards the job.
