The Retail Business and Servicing Analyst is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing various policies and procedures for the Central Applications department, including changes of regional loan servicing rules, the mortgage lock hedging program, and the credit dispute and adverse action processes. In addition, this individual will conduct profitability analysis, manage investor due diligence, and ensure the accuracy of delinquency coding.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES

Develop, implement, and oversee the monitoring and response to changes of regional loan servicing rules.

Work with the Loan Operations and Legal department to implement various state servicing changes. Review and implement ongoing regional servicing rules changes to current portfolios.

Perform ongoing profitability analysis for different business units within the Central Operations department.

Create and oversee the process and procedure for the mortgage lock hedging program and reverse mortgage channel.

Develop, implement, and oversee the policy and procedure for the credit dispute process.

Oversee the accuracy of retail delinquency coding on First American Bank’s core banking system.

Create and monitor the procedures for the retail and mortgage teams to automate adverse action notice deliveries.

Manage all retail lending investor due diligence and annual reviews.

Perform information security reviews for new vendors within the Central Applications department.

Manage the PMI removal requests and escrow cancellation request process.

Manage the Central Applications SharePoint page.

Oversee the creation of internal training videos for the Central Applications department.

Conduct and complete additional assignments/projects as designated by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree required.

Minimum three years of consumer loan operations experience.

Minimum three years of financial services or banking experience required.

Demonstrated ability to simplify sophisticated problems to identify the appropriate solution.

Must be professional, comfortable speaking with external and internal contacts with a demonstrated ability to tailor the message appropriately to the audience and situation effectively.

Demonstrated ability to convey thoughts and ideas effectively and succinctly via written formats, including emails, letters, and electronic platforms. Maintain professional standards relating to spelling and grammar.

Maintain credibility through professional demeanor, appearance, and presence by modeling standards appropriate to our environment and industry.

Maintain good working relationships with internal partners by exhibiting exemplary interpersonal skills, adopting a constructive, solutions-focused approach.

Use sound professional judgment to balance the interests of the organization and customer, understanding and using available resources to mitigate risks.

Knowledge of DecisionPro, MortgageBot, DocMagic, LaserPro, and Equifax is required.

Proficiency with Microsoft 365 products and applications, including the ability to effectively prepare or review documents, procedures, and reports.

Demonstrated ability to learn new systems and applications, as well as the ability to understand, adapt and adjust responsibilities/workflows as a result of system upgrades.

This position requires periodic travel to attend in person meetings and satisfy office obligations/responsibilities.

Typical schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours may be required depending upon business need.

Punctuality is required to maintain First American Bank’s customer service standards.
