Responsibilities:

Knowledge Manager:

Provides the transfer of knowledge sharing, so that the organization know how, information and experience is shared inside and (as appropriate) outside the organization with clients, partners, and stakeholders. 

Promotes knowledge sharing through the organization's operational business processes.

Strengthens links between knowledge sharing and the information systems and improves integration among information systems in the organization to facilitate seamless exchange of information across systems.

Promotes collaborative tools such as activity rooms to facilitate sharing of ideas and work among internal teams and external partners.

Provide support for the establishment and nurturing of communities of practice, including workshops, one-on-one guidance, and troubleshooting.

Shares experiences across communities of practice, business units, and networks on innovative approaches in knowledge sharing, including preparation of case studies.

Help to monitor and evaluate the knowledge sharing program, including external benchmarking and evaluation programs/opportunities.

May supervise more junior team members.

Maintains communications on knowledge sharing across the organization, participation in orientation and training sessions, and preparation of brochures/presentations.

Familiarity with developing and delivering knowledge sharing programs and with the company’s or customers information infrastructure. Experience in establishing effective partnerships within and outside the organization.

Assists aligning processes and technology to enable information sharing by analysts and organizations for analytic production.

Uses centralized and peripheral databases, content management, records management systems and shapes workflow and processes.

Compiles reports on performance and usage metrics and future requirements for existing knowledge management capabilities including, but not limited to, search, discovery, storage and retrieval of data and formal production and taskings.

Disseminates intelligence products across separate networks and portals.

Qualifications:

Target Salary Range:

$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
