What you’ll do as a Laborer
Perform construction tasks including loading, delivery, digging, and operating equipment
Assist in loading and unloading equipment and supplies needed for daily work assignments, setting-up worksite traffic and safety controls, and properly securing the work area.
Following traffic control plans and maintaining the control of traffic safety within the work zone according to Caltrans requirements.
Install underground telecommunications cabling
When required, and if appropriately licensed and authorized, drive or operate construction equipment used on the jobsite to complete daily work assignments
Clearly communicate with all team members
Complete daily production reports
Fully restore worksite at completion of daily work; refill trenches and holes, tamp soil, replant any plants or shrubs that were disturbed during our construction, place temporary asphalt on streets where excavations have been performed.
Perform work in all weather conditions
Other duties as assigned

What you’ll need
To be 18 years of age or older
Authorization to work in the United States for this company
High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
A valid standard Driver's License or Class A Commercial Driver's License.
To be able to pass a DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card.
Previous experience safely operating various hand tools and utility trucks, is preferred
Physical abilities & exposures
Routinely: work alone in remote locations and in confined spaces with arms above shoulder level, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds
Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
