Fillauer Motion Control, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of robotic artificial arms used by amputee wearers. These ‘Myo-Electric Prosthetic’ devices are manufactured in Salt Lake City. Fillauer Motion Control, Inc. is seeking an Electronics Technician to test, troubleshoot and repair sophisticated electronic circuits and electro-mechanical assemblies used to produce a variety of upper extremity medical products such as electro-mechanical hands, wrists, and elbows. 

Your Impact:

Work in a production environment testing, calibrating and programming a variety of microprocessor and non-microprocessor based electronic circuit boards.

Capable of troubleshooting circuit boards to component level using industry standard equipment. 

Provide customer support by attending to service calls to assist clinicians with technical issues that occur in the field. 

Identifies manufacturing defects and processes them according to established manufacturing and quality procedures. 

Works closely with mechanical engineers/technicians on electro-mechanical production matters.

Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with company standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering / Technology or equivalent.

Detailed understanding of electronic networks and theory with a thorough knowledge of electronic and mechanical processes and systems.

Experience using industry standard electronic instruments such as digital multimeters (DMM), oscilloscopes, function generators, soldering irons, etc.

Interprets technical documents such as electronic schematics, diagrams and written manufacturing procedures

Experience working in an electronics manufacturing environment is an asset.

Must have, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver’s license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger’s Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures.
