Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Environmental Services Manager to join our team at CentraState Healthcare System. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the cleanliness, sanitation, and maintenance of our hospital facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Supervision: Manage and lead the Environmental Services team, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
Facility Maintenance: Ensure all areas of the hospital, including patient rooms, operating rooms, and public spaces, are clean, sanitized, and well-maintained.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to environmental services and hospital sanitation.
Inventory Management: Oversee the procurement and inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Budget Management: Develop and manage the department budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
Emergency Response: Coordinate and manage environmental services during emergency situations, such as infectious disease outbreaks or natural disasters.
Collaboration: Work closely with other hospital departments to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care and facility management.
Qualifications:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in environmental services management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Bilingual: English/ Spanish preferred.
Skills: Floor care experience required, strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Knowledge of hospital sanitation standards and regulations.
