Our client, a highly respected engineering firm in Austin, is seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer PE/PM with HVAC and/or plumbing design experience to join their dynamic team. This is a full-time, direct hire position offering excellent compensation, benefits, bonuses, 401K, and PTO programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and generate AutoCAD/Revit files and construction documents for various building types (commercial, educational, healthcare, multifamily, etc.)

Manage projects from start to finish, ensuring timelines and budgets are met

Maintain and organize all mechanical engineering documents and schedules

Review mechanical design submittals and address field issues as needed

Provide project status updates to internal and external stakeholders

Develop new business by building relationships with clients

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (MS preferred)

At least 6 years of relevant experience in HVAC/plumbing design and project management

Current PE License

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit; familiarity with HVAC modeling programs (TRACE700, CHVAC7.0, AIRMaster) is a plus

Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders
