Job Description: As a key member of the Supply Chain team, the Production Planner will manage production planning and maintain strong working relationships with operations, purchasing, and customer services.
Key Duties:
* Produce and issue level-loaded manufacturing plans to meet OTIF targets.
* Maintain long-term capacity plans and identify potential risks.
* Attend daily operations and planning meetings.
* Ensure a plan attainment of >95%.
* Meet Inventory and DOS targets in collaboration with the supply chain manager.
* Agree on a dispatch schedule with logistics to meet customer delivery dates.
* Facilitate communications between operations, purchasing, and customer services.
* Report daily and monthly planning KPIs and propose improvement projects.
* Monitor and analyze production planning and order intake KPIs.
* Streamline current processes and innovate to improve services.
* Provide analysis on order book and stock levels as needed.
Skills & Experience: Essential:
* Minimum of 2 years of experience as a production planner.
* Advanced Excel skills.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Data-driven with a curiosity for process improvements.
* Understanding of manufacturing processes.
* Problem-solving abilities.
* Flexibility and prioritization skills.
* Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
Desirable:
* Degree qualified or experience in high-volume manufacturing production planning.
