Role: Production Planner
Salary: £35,000 to £45,000
Location: Commutable from Skipton, Barnoldswick, Ilkley, Clitheroe, Gargrave, Colne, Barrowford, Nelson
We are pleased to announce we are retained with a long-established manufacturing client who boast an impressive range of clients and services.

This is a brand-new role which has been introduced due to continued company (and order) growth and will be reporting directly to the Planning Manager.

You will be working within small team and will need to have a background within manufacturing planning.

You will have current work experience of working within a fast-paced environment and will interact well with other stakeholders within the business.

The purpose of this role is to provide consistent production plans with feasible and realistic sequenced materials in accordance with the availability of production lines, labour and materials to ensure customer deliveries are on time and in full across all platforms.

Qualifications

Minimum HNC / HND Level qualification
Understanding of PREACTOR – implementation and use is highly desirable
Computer literate and conversant with the necessary software to perform specific functions associated with working procedures i.e. Microsoft Excel
SAP experience would be desirable
Experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment
Have excellent attention to detail and communication skills
Principle Accountabilities

Develop Comprehensive Production Plans
Coordinate with Manufacturing & Assembly
Adhere to Work Order Timelines
Address Production Shortfalls
Maintain Master Data
Monitor Line of Balance
Track Business KPIs
Engage in SAP Improvement Initiatives
Manage Client Information
Contribute to SIOP Summaries
Communicate with Planning & Logistics Manager
Drive Process Improvements
