We have a unique opportunity for an experienced Health & Safety Officer to work part-time at a busy engineering site in South Leicestershire. The client requires someone to work on-site 3 days per week, handling all health and safety matters, such as audits, workplace inspections, machine inspections, risk assessments, and general health & safety administration.

This is an office-based role (no hybrid working), and it is strictly for 3 days per week (there is not enough need to justify a full-time, 5-day role).

What skills/experience are needed?

*A solid work history in a similar role (ideally with an engineering background)

*Local to Lutterworth/South Leicestershire (we are not looking for extended commutes)

*Outgoing, friendly, and easy to get along with

*Someone who understands practical health and safety, not just the theoretical aspects

*A person who is genuinely able to commit to 3 days per week and is not expecting hybrid working
