Our client specialize in precision components for the defense, aerospace and marine sectors. They are recruiting for a Quality Engineer to support their production departments and customers, ensuring the highest standards!

Quality Engineer Roles and Responsibilities:

* Managing customer returns & quality clinics in accordance with Company procedures, Customer requirements & to the defined time restraints

* Customer liaison in respect of customer returns, non-conformances and Root Cause Corrective Action

* Support in all internal and external auditing activities, maintaining the Quality Management System

* Initiating, managing and documenting all corrective actions to ensure preventative action is effective

* Ensuring internal & external non-conformity are communicated

* Ensuring correct practice, legalities and responsibilities in respect of the Quality System, Health & Safety system and Environmental System are maintained

* Adhering to the QMS of the business and maintain compliance to all customer quality requirements & AS9100

The ideal Quality Engineer will:

* Have similar Quality experience within a manufacturing workshop environment

* Ideally have experience working within the aerospace industry

* Have previously adhered to AS9001 QMS standards

* Be customer orientated, previously acted as a customers first point of contact

Working Hours & Benefits:

* Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm

* Flexible Working

* 5 weeks annual leave + bank holidays
