Commercial Business Analyst - £40,000 (12-Month Fixed Term Contract)

We're looking for a detail-oriented Commercial Business Analyst on a 12-month fixed-term contract, supporting transformational projects for a local authority.

Key Responsibilities:

Extract, analyse, and present data from various systems, including financial reports, to support commercial strategies
Confidently challenge performance across the organisation, including senior management, and develop innovative solutions to drive improvements.
Work closely with project managers and senior stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of commercial objectives.

What You'll Bring:

Essential Skills & Experience:

Strong background in commercial/business analysis with the ability to extract and analyse key data.
Proven experience working in a commercial environment and translating complex data into actionable insights.
Self-motivated and able to work independently, with excellent communication skills to convey complex information clearly.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, with experience using other Microsoft Office products like Word and PowerPoint.

Desirable Skills:

Experience working with financial systems like Unit4 Agresso or similar.
Degree-level education and experience in a complex organisational setting.
