Learning Support Assistant - Lewisham

Milk Education are recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant for a Mainstream secondary school in Lewisham to work on a long-term basis starting in September! This learning support assistant role is full-time, and the working hours will be 08:30am- 15:30pm Monday to Friday , long until July 2025

Learning Support Assistant Role & Responsibilities:

● Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students

● Support pupils consistently whilst responding to their individual needs

● Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/plans as appropriate

● Deliver catch-up sessions

Learning Support Assistant Non-negotiables:

● Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, specifically those with SEND.

● Must have a passion for education

● Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills

● Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the teacher
