Job Title: Maintenance Data Centre Site Manager
Location: Watford
Contract Duration: Immediate start until early December
Working Hours: 08:00-17:00
Pay rate: £245 - £285 per day (umbrella)
Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Data Centre Site Manager to oversee the operations of a live production facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing data centres and be proficient in handling various systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain the data centre infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
Oversee the operation and maintenance of Building Management Systems (BMS), Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), Air Handling Units (AHU), and Dust Filtration Units (DFU).
Monitor and manage Facility Management Systems (FMS), chillers, dampers, and switchgear.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Coordinate with electrical and mechanical teams to address any issues promptly.
Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to minimise downtime.
Manage vendor relationships and service contracts.
Requirements:

Proven experience in a data centre or live production facility.
Proficiency in managing BMS, UPS, AHU, DFU, FMS, chillers, dampers, and switchgear.
Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical environments.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
