I am recruiting for a leading food manufacturer in Norfolk who are looking for a highly experienced Procurement Manager to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company objectives.
Manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure the best terms and conditions.
Monitor market trends and identify potential risks and opportunities.
Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Collaborate with other departments to understand their procurement needs and provide support.
Maintain accurate records and reports on procurement activities.

Requirements for the role:

Proven experience as a Procurement Manager is essential.
Experience in sourcing food and food ingredients across and exposure to Indirect sub-categories.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Experienced in sourcing categories across multiple geographies.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Work with supply chain stakeholders to ensure business continuity, and with commercial, production and technical stakeholders to deliver cost reduction objectives and innovation needs.
The ability to develop and maintain strong supplier relationships
