Digital Print Operator (Night Shift)

Sunday - Thursday 10pm-6am

Salary up to £28k DOE - Raising to £30k after 3 months' probation

My client is a fast turnaround print company, who currently have a vacancy for a Digital Print Operator for the night shift, to join and strengthen their 24-hour print team.

You will have a passion for all things printing, an ability to think outside the box and problem solve where necessary, a get the job done attitude is highly sought after.

A keen eye for quality control, troubleshooting and time-management is necessary to achieve the production goals in this area.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Effectively running Canon IX in line with job specifications
Ensure all work is produced to the highest quality standard, most efficiently and on time
Ensure accuracy of job production
Work to reduce reprints and wastage
Achieve highest level of press 'uptime' and maintenance reporting
Maintain the press room environment and presses to expected high level
Ensure all reprints are recorded, monitored and reported
Support the Digital Print Supervisor with general running and upkeep of the digital department.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must Come from a digital print background
Highly organised and great attention to detail
Be n a commutable distance to Swindon
Be flexible to work nights and overtime when needed
