Job Title: Stores Person
Location: Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk
Salary: £25,000 - £26,000 per year

We are looking for a proactive and organised Stores Person to join a well-established manufacturing business in Bury St Edmunds. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment to play a vital role in maintaining smooth operations. You'll need a strong attention to detail and the ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.

In this role, you will work closely with welders and other operatives, ensuring production flows efficiently. Ownership of your duties and a collaborative approach to team goals will be essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely load and unload equipment and parts without damage
Identify part locations from job cards
Organise kits' according to job cards and drawings
Identify discrepancies or missing parts
Accurately complete all necessary paperwork
Adhere to schedules and job directives
Manage stock rotation, checking, and organisation
Skills & Attributes:

Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential
Strong communication skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Forklift truck (FLT) license is advantageous but not required
Organised, proactive approach to work
Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive lifting
